Taru is a medium-flared kali-cut skirt in soft cotton, hand block printed in two complementary Ajrakh patterns. The earthy green base carries subtle olive and blue-grey undertones, brought together with intricate geometric motifs and small floral forms in muted madder red, rust and warm beige.

The two prints alternate across the kalis, creating an interesting play of patterns without overwhelming the silhouette. Designed with an adjustable drawstring waist, a side zip closure and a functional pocket, the skirt is fully lined for added comfort and ease of wear.

Naturally dyed and hand block printed in small batches, the fabric carries subtle variations in colour, shade and print intensity. These natural differences, along with the slight irregularities of hand printing, are part of the character of each handmade piece.

We have paired it with a hand-spun and hand-woven cotton top for an easy, understated look.

This garment has been hand block printed and natural dyed. Slight colour bleeding may occur during the first few washes. We recommend washing separately in cold water and avoiding soaking to help preserve its colour and finish.
