Chaukadi is a lightweight hand block printed Ajrakh cotton skirt, naturally dyed in a classic charcoal black and beige checkered pattern. The small checks are hand printed, giving the surface a naturally uneven character that is part of the beauty of Ajrakh craftsmanship.

The skirt has a medium-flared silhouette with an easy, flowing fall. It is fully lined for comfortable wear and finished with an adjustable drawstring waist and a side zipper for an easy fit. At 37 inches, it works beautifully with a simple top for everyday dressing or can be styled with traditional jewellery for a more considered look.

We have paired it here with our hand-spun off-white cotton shirt/top, available separately and not included with the skirt.
